I think I'm getting the hang out of using dodge and burn and using it with selection tools. I can now say I'm a lot better than the first time I did it.
I still don't like how dodge and burn colors stuff, but maybe I'm just used to coloring it my way. I'll probably tackle airbrush and painting style in the future.

I've heard a lot of people bash dodge and burn, but it seems to me they make perfect shading! If only there was some way to color-shift them as you use them.. because yeah, the color is a little odd.
